You need to communicate this with your customers, and manage their expectations, so that your work doesn’t impinge on the time you need with your family or for yourself.
For example:
๐ธ Have an out of office responder on your email or phone which explains which days you work and when they can expect a response
๐ธ Do not reply to people on social media channels at 10pm at night if you’re going to be irritated by them continuing to message at that time
๐ธ If you do work late in to the evening sending emails, schedule them to go out in the morning, rather than your customer seeing you’re working at 11pm at night
๐ธ Carve out time during the week for business admin/planning and ring fence that at all costs
