The Christmas chaos has arrived! How is your life/family/Christmas admin list looking?!

If you’re anything like me, it’s actually NOW that’s the fun part - the run up to Christmas and all the festive activities we can get involved with (not forgetting my fave - Hallmark movies). So I want to be super organised right now so I can put my feet up and enjoy a film with a hot chocolate guilt-free, safe in the knowledge that my business is still thriving and money is still coming in.

So how do we do that?

Here are 4 Steps To Making This Your Most Organised (and Joyful) Christmas Yet

1. Make sure you are doubling down on your CEO Time sessions each week - make your To Do list and work out your 5% activities. Even if you can only get 3 things done each day, if you make them some of your 5% activities, you’ll be keeping the business growing.

2. Decide what your availability is going to be this month - what date will you be finishing for the Christmas break? Are there school events you want to attend? Do you want to fit in a mid-week shopping trip to avoid the crowds?

3. Inform your clients of your December ‘opening times’ or when they will have access to you - and especially if you’re a done-for-you service, when do they need to get their information to you for you to get it done in time? Managing expectations with your clients will help them get organised and avoid any last minute panics for you.

4. Think about scheduling your communications now over the holidays - are there emails, social media posts, blog posts which you can get written now so it’s not contributing to the invisible load of all the things you need to remember

And finally, remind yourself that being ‘busy’ does not mean you are being ‘productive’. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is to rest your brain and actually enjoy some FUN!
